A Moment with our Creator: Luke 12:27-28

Look at the lilies and how they grow. They don’t work to make clothes. Yet, Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are. And if God cares so wonderfully for flowers that are here today and gone tomorrow, He will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith?

Luke 12:27-28, NIV 1984

Although the first official day of spring is a few days away, the flowers and trees have already embraced the season in our neck of the woods. My blogging friend, Pastor Pete has masterfully woven our physical and spiritual response to this change of season into his poem titled “To Hear the Church Bells Ring.” Click here to enjoy.

    1. I was delighted to share your poem, Pastor Pete! Funny how different locations herald spring in different ways- a crowd of crocuses vs a crowd of beach bound teenagers. These crocuses are usually the first flowers on our property to show themselves. However, this year they were beat out by several weeks by my lenten roses which bloomed quite appropriately the week of lent. The warm weather has pushed my crocuses through but I believe the lenten roses will see us through Easter.

  1. This is such a timely reminder that God has the whole world in His capable hands. Even the flowers 🌺 🪻come and go when He says. How much more is He careful over us?

This is such a beautiful picture of Adi. She and Summer should make a Lab calendar!📅
