But I will sing of Your strength
Psalm 59:16, CSB
and will joyfully proclaim
Your faithful love in the morning.
For You have been a stronghold for me,
a refuge in my day of trouble.
A Lesson from a Lab
In June when it is time for me to post the month’s Lesson from a Lab, I will be out of internet range enjoying the great outdoors with my family. Thus, I am sharing June’s lesson now through a different venue- Refresh Magazine. Click on the magazine cover below to read “Frozen by Doubt: A Lesson from a Labrador.”

I”m so thankful that I read your article/blog this morning! How many times have I…and do I even now…pause like you said when there is something that God impresses me to do? I doubt my abilities or time or whatever it may be instead of leaning on God’s ability and His provisions. Thank you, Beth, for using your writings to drive home such important truths to my heart. Enjoy your family vacation!

“If the Lord is confident enough in me to ask me to complete a specific task, then I need to move in His confidence and commit to the swim. He is with me, and He has prepared me.” Thank you for this, Beth–and for Philippians 2:13 in the Amplified Version. Wonderful assurance for whatever God might call us to do!

I enjoyed your article, Beth , and plan to read it again, with Alan.
Like Adi, we sometimes freeze when it’s time to do what we were born to do. It’s a good think His strength is perfect!
Enjoy your June trip!

Thank you Alan! One of the things I love most about this annual trip is that it submerges me in Creation connecting me more with the Lord and completely disconnecting me from the distractions of technology.

What a great lesson, Beth! Thank you for sharing it with us.
I relate to Adi’s frozen state of apprehension and doubt, the freeze response is my trauma response. I continuously fight through it with Christ. Each victory brings renewed confidence just like Adi. God bless you.
