“God who first ordered light to shine in darkness has flooded our hearts with His light . . .” II Corinthians 4:6, (Philips)
Welcome to the first mid-month scripture photo. If you haven’t yet read the story behind this photo journal entry I encourage you to click here to read the post titled “Something New.” My hope in sharing my photo-journal is two-fold. First, that you will take a moment to chew on God’s Word. Second, that it will inspire you to create your own scripture photos.

Adi appears to be surveying her territory. Which for a dog, is everything they see! I’m so glad God considers us part of His territory. He chose to let His light shine in our hearts. I’m so glad he didn’t leave us in the dark.
Note to Alisan daughter: Still ready to read that post about something you’ve learned from Summer. Your young lab, that is. 😍

David, I love that additional thought about God considering us part of His territory therefore He chose to let His light shine in our hearts! Thank you for sharing it.

Wonderful photo to illustrate the Scripture. I took another moment to look at the photo, and felt quietly enriched by it. That’s the only way I can think of right now to express it.

Perfect photo for that verse. It also makes us wonder what Adi is thinking!

Thank you Pastor Pete! Adi has been contemplative since she was a puppy. She’ll just sit or stand and gaze off in the distance watching. I have often wondered what she thinks about in those moments.

Absolutely gorgeous picture of Adi in His presence! I love the scripture which fits well with Davd Kitzs’ devotional today on Psalm 27. Thank you for this sister, God bless you and your lovely family.
