“. . . let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.”
Hebrew 12:1, NIV 1984
November brings harvested fields and happy Labradors racing from one rich smell to the next. As you can see they are running unhindered. Not a leash in sight. Today, may you find yourself running the race the Lord has set before you unencumbered.
My fellow blogger, Alan Kearns at Devotional Treasures has written an excellent devotional on this same scriptural text. I hope you will take a moment to visit his site and read “Landmarks and Destinations”

Thank you Linda! We had a lovely Thanksgiving. Everyone came home so my parents house was full of good food and lots of laughter.

Thank you Beth. What a lovely picture of a wide stubble open field, the dogs love that their noses following the trails left by wildlife. We nay not have the tracking abilities of Adi and Summer but we certainly need to keep our eyes on the path laid out for us by our Father God. I will need to go and read the recommendation now…oh the benefits of having a defective brain lol, I get to read posts like someone else wrote them. 😅

I believe Glen would have enjoyed a frolic in the field with two Labradors, though he might have spent more time herding them then following wildlife trails. I had this scripture photo ready to go the first week of November and was so tickled when later that week you posted Landmarks and Destinations. I knew I needed to include it as part of this post.
