If that photo is any indication, I’d say Adi is a dog of faith!! 😁 In fact, I think she’s reviewing one of her memory verses: “The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?” (Psalm 27:1).

This precious picture brings a lump to my throat. I want to be one who waits for the Lord with the same sweet patience Adi has.

It can be hard to watch and wait for the Lord, when worry starts to creep in. Yet, this picture of Addi reminds me that she is in good hands. Her family loves her and takes care of her daily needs. Our loving Heavenly Father does the same. “Every morning His mercies are new; great is Thy faithfulness.”

I agree David, it is hard to watch and wait and not worry. Thank you for including that portion of Lamentations. It is one I find myself using often in my morning prayers and praise.

I was reading your previous post about signs and seasons and how we need to learn to let go of—or at least hold more loosely— our clocks and calendars. It’s an interesting lesson I’ve been learning myself this year and I sense it has impacted my life in ways that I’m not even aware of yet.
I really enjoy the thoughtfulness of your posts, Beth. Good work.
